RETURN FLIGHT LISBONA-NEW YORK (1,8 TON)

ANNUAL PERSONAL PLASTIC WASTE (0,17 TON)

10 PAIRS OF JEANS (0,3 TON)

YEAR OF CAR USAGE (2,4 TON)

ANNUAL PERSONAL FOOD WASTE (0,5 TON)

SMARTPHONE + YEAR OF USAGE (0,15 TON)

Every step towards addressing the climate crisis is desirable. But is every attempt equally effective? Totems in Aveiro are a set of sculptures that start the conversation on a conscious and informed efforts to manage our carbon footprint. Today your personal annual carbon footprint is more or less 10 tons. In 2050 it should be zero. Responsibility for reaching that goal is both on nations, businesses and us - individuals.
